Light in the Word
An open Bible. An invitation to grow.
Proposed initiative
The need
The cost of a Bible or inaccessible reading formats can stand between someone and a resource they want. Access should be offered freely and without pressure.
Who this is for
People requesting a Bible or accessible study resources who cannot afford them. Eligibility must never depend on conversion, church membership, or religious participation.
What we hope to do
Source approved editions, fulfill requests through confirmed distribution arrangements, and offer optional guided study.
How funds would be used
Bible procurement, shipping, accessible resources, and group facilitation.
Prepare to serve
Help prepare resources, coordinate requested Bibles, or support approved study groups.
Express volunteer interestCareful preparation, lasting trust.
A donation supports a pooled access fund. It is separate from purchasing a Bible for a named recipient through Gift a Bible.

Can I request help now?
This proposed initiative is not currently accepting assistance applications. You can contact us about your interest; we cannot promise assistance. For urgent needs, contact verified services in your area.
Does a gift guarantee a specific outcome?
No. Contributions support the disclosed costs of approved work. We do not promise that a fixed amount guarantees a meal, bed, job, or other outcome.
What happens if the program changes?
Collection stops if the purpose cannot be fulfilled. Any reassignment or refund requires recorded review and donor communication; the original designation is retained.
